Dr. Parker Groom

Dr. Parker Groom joined the Stetzel Dental Group team in 2023. He attended the University of Michigan where he earned his Bachelor’s degree majoring in Bio-Molecular Sciences with a minor in History of Medicine, as well as a Master’s in Biochemistry. Dr. Groom then traveled to Indianapolis and officially became a Hoosier at the Indiana University School of Dentistry where he served on his class’ Executive Committee as Secretary all four years. He served as the Wellness Chair on the American Student Dental Association at the school and founded new wellness and mentorship initiatives for his colleagues in coordination and with support from the Indiana Dental Association. Currently, Dr. Groom holds an advisory position on the board for Proctor and Gamble’s Dental Care continuing education program which offers free certified coursework for all dental professionals as well as resources for patients. His main goal is the wellbeing of his patients and profession, as he strives to provide an excellent level of care and education.

A native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Dr. Groom loves to travel up north in the summer and winter for beaches and snow and of course Michigan football games. He loves traveling, tennis, painting, and gardening and is always down for adventure and new experiences with his friends and family. He is excited to learn more about his new home in Fort Wayne, Indiana!
