Specialized Dental Options

At Stetzel Dental Group our expert level of care doesn’t end at your teeth, but we know resolution of many issues start with treatment at its source – your mouth. Systemic health and wellbeing begins with good oral health, so we extend these specialized services to our exceptional dental care to improve your sleep, sense of wellness and overall quality of life.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are another fantastic option for tooth replacement. Implants work great in areas where anchor teeth may not be available, where flossability is desired, or where multiple teeth may need replaced. When choosing to replace missing teeth with dental implants, our team works closely with local oral surgeons who place the implant into the bone. Once that area is allowed to heal and the implant is secured properly in place, our doctors will select the proper abutment or platform upon which the implant crown will sit. The crown is then permanently affixed, so that the implant system serves as an individual replacement tooth.

Same-Day Teeth (All-on-six)

This concept is one of our most advanced surgical options for patients with extensive restorative or aesthetic desires for their smiles. Working closely with oral surgeons and dental labs, this process is a fantastic option for a drastic restorative result which can be completed in a single day. During this surgery, our doctors go with you to the oral surgeon’s where multiple dental implants are placed in the mouth, and a new set of teeth are secured in place of the original teeth. After a healing period of about six months, a final set of teeth are set in place. This life-changing option is one that works great for patients who have multiple missing teeth, reduced function of their existing teeth, or are unhappy with the appearance of their teeth.

Root Canals

Root canals are performed when a tooth has become infected or has died from a previous injury. During the procedure, the individual tooth is isolated and the canal system that houses the nerve and blood supply for the tooth is accessed through a small opening in the tooth. Once that area is reached, the canals are thoroughly cleaned of all infected or affected materials and filled with a specialized filling material called gutta percha. Root canals are a common procedure that patients may choose in order to save certain teeth.
Crowns are the critical next step to restoration after a root canal. Learn how Stetzel Dental Group works to deliver the beautiful and functional smile of your dreams with crowns.

Botox & Xeomin

Our patients have benefited immensely from the addition of Botox and Xeomin to our practice. These treatments have a wide range of uses, from management of fine lines and wrinkles, to treatment of TMJ Disorder, to relief from migraine headaches. Many patients report improvement in as little as a few days! If you are interested in learning more about this service, call our office to schedule a consultation.

Oral Conscious Sedation

Your comfort during your appointment is our priority! In addition to weighted blankets and nitrous oxide (also known as laughing gas), Stetzel Dental Group offers oral conscious sedation for the comfort of our patients. This is a fantastic option for patients with dental anxiety, extensive treatment plans, or for patients who have a difficult time getting or staying numb for a procedure. Before treatment, a pre-sedation consultation is completed, where the doctor reviews medical history, treatment plans, and what to expect for the day of the appointment. On the day of the scheduled treatment, you won’t be “put to sleep” – There are no IVs, tubes, or scary operating rooms! Rather, you’ll be given a medication that’ll make you feel drowsy and at ease.
